A Modern Transformation
The renovation of PNC Arena will transform the facility into a competitor amongst modern state-of-the-art sports and entertainment venues. Opened in 1999, the venue is home to the NHL’s Carolina Hurricanes and NC State University Men’s Basketball. The renovations will be conducted in three phases during the hockey off-season and focus on improving fan experience, enhancing hospitality opportunities, increasing support infrastructure, and expanding and enhancing the service yard, load dock, and marshalling area.

CAA ICON’s Strategic Advisory Group provided consulting services to help establish a process and approach for evaluating potential options, as well as negotiating advisory support services for the arena’s lease extension on behalf of Centennial Authority.
