Championship Venues
The Turkish Basketball Federation (TBF) engaged CAA ICON to provide consulting services related to TBF’s efforts to host the 2010 FIBA World Basketball Championship in Turkey. CAA ICON assisted TBF in assuring that three of the host venues, the Sinan Erdem Dome (also known as the Olympic Dome), the Adbi Ipekçi, and the Ankara Arena, were designed and outfitted according to FIBA’s requirements and could be successfully operated after the Championship. The goal of TBF was to utilize CAA ICON’s experience with similar venues to create the highest possible quality experience for basketball fans during the August 2010 Championship.
