A New Stadium for Houston
Shell Energy Stadium, home to the Houston Dynamo MLS team and Houston Dash NWSL team, is located in downtown Houston within walking distance of Minute Maid Park, the George R. Brown Convention Center, and the Toyota Center. The open-air stadium serves as the host venue for concerts, festivals, boxing, high school sports, sports championships, community events, and more. PNC Stadium achieved LEED Silver certification, making it the first MLS Soccer Stadium to receive a LEED Silver rating and the first newly constructed LEED Silver sports facility in the city of Houston.
Services Provided
CAA ICON was initially hired to provide Feasibility and Planning services for designing and building an MLS stadium for a fixed $75 million budget. After feasibility was confirmed, the team provided the full scope of Project Management services for design and construction of Shell Energy Stadium.
