A New Standard
Over a four-year period, Paycom Center added a National Basketball Association team (Oklahoma City Thunder), a new broadcast system and video board, new terrace seating, a new entrance, and more. The project was tackled in three phases, the first of which included installing broadcast wiring and new lighting, as well as upgrading restrooms throughout the building. For Phase B, the upper-level concourse was refinished, new terrace suites and lounges were added, as well as upgraded and retractable seating in the lower bowl. Renovations to locker rooms were completed and a $3.9 million scoreboard was added.
Services Provided
Phase C renovations included a new Grand Entrance with a multi-story atrium and terrazzo tile flooring. A new full-service restaurant, Center Court Grill, opens before all events at the arena, and a new OU Children’s Physicians Kids Zone offers games to entertain children who come to the arena.
