CAA ICON Strategic Advisory played an instrumental role in the disposition of AutoZone Park and the Memphis Redbirds of Triple-A baseball. CAA ICON provided transaction and strategic advisory services to the bond holders during the sale process. The stadium was ultimately sold to the City of Memphis and the team was sold to the MLB St. Louis Cardinals. Prior to the transactions, CAA ICON completed a stadium appraisal and a separate team appraisal for AutoZone Park and the Memphis Redbirds. The stadium appraisal and the team appraisal required a detailed understanding of Triple-A stadium lease agreements, as well as Triple-A team operating and financial characteristics.
