Investing in the Future

Toyota Center is undergoing a transformation to elevate the fan experience and solidify its role in hosting large-scale, city-wide events. Plans for upgrading the downtown arena include a new 20,000 sf atrium, reconfigured south entry, renovated suites, an overhauled skybridge connecting the arena and the Toyota Tundra garage, and upgraded technology and infrastructure throughout. The new atrium will create upper concourse space for The Sky Bar and HOU Market, providing elevated hospitality and views of downtown Houston.

Coming Home

As the Houston Comets prepare to return to Houston in 2027, the renovation also includes a revamped Houston Rockets and Comets team store that will double the size, as well as new and renovated WNBA-specific facilities within the arena.

Collaboration

CAA ICON was initially engaged by the Rockets to assess the current state of the arena and the investments needed to modernize the 23 year-old venue, as well as perform a feasibility analysis to assist in the development of an updated arena program to meet market demand.
