...CAA ICON presented a long-term capital needs assessment of Bridgestone Arena to the Sports Authority, detailing the current state of the facility, its deficiencies and future capital expenditures required over the next 25 years to keep Bridgestone Arena safe and competitive through 2049. 

CAA ICON drew on the expertise of Populous, Thornton Thomasetti, SSR, VDA and Barton Marlow to complete the assessment. 

For being nearly 30 years old, CAA ICON found that the arena — one of the busiest in the world — is overall in good shape. The Predators have invested over $150 million into the arena since 2010, making $15 million worth of upgrades this summer. 

Over the next 25 years, the projected spending range on improvements to the arena is expected to be $70 million to $292 million, the assessment found.
