Just over 12 months after the Titans broke ground on the future Nissan Stadium, the structure is already starting to look more like a sports facility than simply a construction site.
That’s what happens when 850 workers spend 920,000 man-hours on the job, which is what the labor tally is to date.
The Titans on Monday offered local media a glimpse at progress on the stadium, which remains on schedule to see its construction finished in February 2027. The project carries an estimated cost of $2.1 billion.
Work is about 22 percent completed overall. This is right on target, per Kevin McGrath, vice president of CAA ICON, which is managing the on-site stadium efforts.
“The first structural concrete above ground started June 8 of 2024, so that’s [just eight months ago],” McGrath said. “That’s pretty fascinating we’ve come this far on such a schedule. Pretty excited about that.”
