A Venue Reimagined
Ahead of the venue’s 25th anniversary, an investment of more than $350 million was made to further enhance Scotiabank Arena for the future. The comprehensive multi-phase renovations involve improvements to almost all areas within the venue including concourses, suites, premium clubs, retail spaces, food and beverage offerings, state-of-the-art technological innovations, and more.
Phased Approach Begins
For the first phase of the project during the summer of 2023, premium spaces on the Mastercard Executive Suite Level (200 Level) were fully renovated, and state-of-the-art technology was added to revolutionize fans’ concession experience. Details include a complete rebuild of the 200 Level suites, a new Theatre Box Club called the Mastercard Lounge, three new party suites, and the addition of two Amazon Web Services’ (AWS) “Just Walk Out” marketplaces, making the venue one of the first Canadian venues to implement this technology.
Additionally, in collaboration with Sports & The Arts (SATA), the venue added 76 commissioned art pieces by 34 artists who help tell the story of the rich diversity of Canada.
Phases 2 and 3
Following the conclusion of the 2023-24 Maple Leafs and Raptors seasons, the venue underwent extensive renovations as part of Phase 2, which included a transformation of the 100 Level concourse, introduction of the MNP Pass Social Club, an additional Real Sports Apparel store, remodel of Hot Stove restaurant and Molson Brewhouse, and upgrades to the open-concept broadcast studio.
During the summer of 2025, Phase 3 renovations began while the arena remained open at full capacity for concerts and shows. Highlights include a transformation of the 300 Level concourse, Loge Club, retail and F&B experience, suites, and enhanced technology upgrades.
Phase 4 and Upcoming Phases
The fourth phase of the project was completed during fall of 2025, and included the renovation of the 500 Level loge club and 400 and 500 Level executive suites. The loge suites were reconfigured into a club space, extending the social space for fans to the upper levels, and the executive suites were completely remodeled.
Future renovations include additional enhancements to the 300 Level concourse, such as dynamic digital screens, gathering hubs, and flexible design elements to reflect the looks of different events. The Coors Light Chill Zone will be renovated into a vibrant environment to connect fans and enhance their experience at the arena.
