From the street, it’s hard to determine how Orlando City’s future stadium is progressing. Take a few steps over mounds of dirt covered in tire tracks, though, and the picture becomes more clear.
...Standing on a top step, overlooking it all on Monday afternoon was Orlando City majority owner Flávio Augusto da Silva, who visited the stadium site for the first time.
Augusto da Silva was shown around the grounds by project director Brent Beardslee. They stood where the scoreboard will be (in a corner near Church Street) and talked about the next steps: mechanical, electrical and plumbing work, which will begin next week.
