It’s the calm before the storm.
As Colorado State’s 2015 football season about to begin, so is major construction of the university’s on-campus stadium, set for completion in time to kick off the 2017 season.
“The on-site work we’re currently doing is really site clearing in preparation for construction,” said Mike Harms, senior vice president for ICON Venue Group, the project manager. “On or about the first of October is when we’ll start the foundation work and on-site utility work.”
So it’s all systems go for the $220 million, 41,000-seat stadium on the south side of the university’s campus.
